Night 1: Hanoi → Mu Cang Chai
Your adventure begins at 7:00 PM with an overnight sleeper bus departing from My Dinh Bus Station in Hanoi, heading to Mu Cang Chai district. Get some rest and wake up to the fresh mountain air in Northwest Vietnam.
Day 1: La Pan Tan - Hang Cua Dua - Trong Sua – Na Hang A & B - Pung Luong - La Pan Tan (Trekking 19 km)
Enjoy a breakfast and then the trek starts at 8 AM from La Pan Tan Village to Trong Sua. You’ll see stunning panoramic views of Mu Cang Chai’s famous terraced rice fields - each season with their own unique beauty - and the daily life of local ethnic communities.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the nature
In the afternoon, continue through Na Hang A & B, passing through pine forests and scenic waterfalls before arriving in Pung Luong, home of the Flower Hmong people.
A car will pick you up and take you to your homestay in La Pan Tan, where you’ll enjoy a warm dinner and a peaceful night.
Day 2: La Pan Tan - Nam Khat - Sua Long - Lang Sang - Muong Chien - Ban Luot - Na Tang Hau - La Pan Tan (Motorbike Tour ~90km)
After breakfast, hop on a motorbike at 8:30 AM to begin your journey to Nam Khat Village, taking in incredible views of nature and the villages of ethnic minority groups
Stop in Xua Long Village to visit the ancient tomb of a legendary Hmong King, where your guide will share some fascinating stories.
Visit Nam Khat Market, where ethnic groups such as: Hmong Lenh, Hmong Du and Hmong Si come to the market to trade. Stroll through the stalls and observe the local trading culture. You can even try some regional delicacies before continuing your ride.
Next stop is Muong Chien and Ban Luot, home to the Hmong and Tay people. Here you can take a relaxing dip in a natural hot spring, followed by a delicious lunch at a nearby restaurant.
Afternoon visit to Luot Village, observe cultural differences between Tay and Hmong people - especially in their houses, clothing, and daily life.
Scenic ride through Road 32, return to La Pan Tan for the final evening
Night 3: Mu Cang Chai → Hanoi
After a farewell dinner with your host family, head to Nga Ba Kim to catch the 9:00 PM sleeper bus back to Hanoi. You’ll arrive at My Dinh Bus Station around 5:00 AM, filled with unforgettable memories and stories from the road.
